The North American Institute of Neurotherapy

Instruction Specifics

The training materials have been well tested over 19-years. They are professional and offer students an engaging, fascinating and thorough training in this new model of therapy. Students are encouraged to move along in the training and complete it in a timely manner. Completion specifics are described below.

Type & Duration of Instruction
Instruction occurs via correspondence. Lessons will be mailed to students, students will return completed lessons via mail, fax or electronically via email. Students will receive response, corrections, and review of work completed.

This program consists of a series of ten modules of two lessons per module. Students may complete individual modules at a pace decided on when they enroll in this program. The projected length of time allowed for completion of each individual module is one month. Realistically, completing two modules a month is a common choice (this is the pace of classroom instruction in NeuroTherapy Training. The school allows a total of ten months for successful completion all program elements.

Procedures for necessary interruptions
Students generally complete this program over a period not to exceed 10 months. If there is a need to lengthen the time of completion, permission in writing from the administrator must be received. If a student must interrupt the training for a length of time, they must inform the school in writing. After a period of 6 months the student must renew their request for interruption if more time is needed before resuming.

Certification requirements
Grading of students is on a PASS/FAIL basis. A mid-program assessment of progress is given. Successful completion of the program requirements (a checklist is provided at the beginning of the program) is required for certification by the North American Institute of NeuroTherapy.

Any changes in course requirements or extension of time allowed for completion of course material must be agreed upon in writing by both the student and the director of the school. Student transcripts and records are kept in accordance with RCW 28C.10.160
